mentor open house
TUESDAY, MARCH 28
We are excited to announce the first in a series of Mentor Open House events! These events will serve as opportunities for students, young, professionals, and those interested in entering the global health field to connect with established professionals in the field.
Each open house will feature 4-5 professionals working in a particular area of global health (e.g. maternal/child health, HIV/AIDS, health system strengthening, etc.). Interested attendees are welcome to drop-in any time or attend the full length of the event. The atmosphere will be casual and attendees are encouraged to come with their questions as there will not be a structured agenda. This is your chance to seek advice, ask about career opportunities, and more!
Our first Mentor Open House will take place on Tuesday, March 28 from 6:00-7:30pm in the Armfield Atrium at UNC Gillings School of Public Health. Future events will rotate to Durham, Raleigh, and throughout the Triangle. The event is free to attend but we ask that you register in advance for planning purposes.

The Triangle Global Health Career Day provides an excellent opportunity for students and those interested in a career in global health to learn more about the field, make connections with influential individuals and institutions, and sharpen and develop their marketable skills. At the same time, local organizations will gain access to highly-qualified and passionate individuals interested in global health and have an opportunity to share their mission and impact.
